Fit & Sizing — M4 Relaxed
The M4 is Ariat's most popular jean — a low-rise, relaxed fit with a roomy seat and thigh and a boot-cut leg sized for a western or work boot. The waistband sits about 2 inches below the natural waist. It is the default fit for most Ariat work and western denim.

- Order your true body-waist measurement. The M4 Relaxed is sold by waist in inches, so if your waist measures 34 inches, order a 34. The M4 is a low-rise jean, so the waistband sits about 2 inches below your natural waist.
- Does the M4 Relaxed run true to size?
- Yes. The M4 Relaxed is cut relaxed and roomy through the seat and thigh. Order your normal jean waist; if you are between waist sizes, size up one inch for all-day comfort.
- What inseam should I choose in the M4 Relaxed?
- Ariat men's jeans are offered in 30, 32, 34 and 36 inch inseams. Pick the inseam closest to your true inside-leg length; a stackable straight leg allows about 1 inch of stacking over a boot.
