Who We Are

Circle A Western and Outdoor was founded in May of 1980. Raymond and Wanda Albert saw a need for a western store to serve the Western Oklahoma community. He took pride in providing the highest quality products they had to offer at the time. Raymond was known for his great customer service skills and helping people from across Western Oklahoma.

In 1987 Edward and Vangie Albert, Raymond’s youngest son and daughter in law son took over the store. He takes pride in his father’s work and continues to bring new and improved products into the store. Over the years, Edward has now opened four additional stores with his son, Sam Albert.

Circle A Western & Outdoor takes pride in the people of Western Oklahoma. At Circle A, you can expect to find the highest quality of western clothing, fire resistant clothing, cowboy boots, work boots and much more.

Edward Albert – Owner

Edward Albert is a second-generation owner of Circle A Western & Workwear. In 1986, he and his wife, Vangie, moved back to Elk City to take over management of the family business and continue the legacy that began in 1980.

Under Edward’s leadership, Circle A grew from a traditional western wear store into a full-service workwear destination, expanding into safety footwear, FR clothing, and serving hardworking professionals across the region. His steady leadership and forward-thinking approach helped shape the foundation the business stands on today.

Vangie was a meaningful part of Circle A’s history and its growth over the years. Edward is now married to Beth, and together they enjoy traveling and staying involved in their church. Outside of work, Edward also enjoys flying and spending quality time with his grandchildren. Faith, family, and community remain central to his life and leadership.
