CAT 2, 8.7 cal/cm² long sleeve FR crew in a lightweight jersey knit
The FR Air Crew gives electricians, utility linemen and oilfield crews the same CAT 2 protection as a heavier FR jersey in a lighter knit that's easier to wear through a hot shift. It's rated at 8.7 cal/cm² against second-degree burns from an electrical arc, meets NFPA 70E and ASTM F1506 for arc flash, and is UL classified to NFPA 2112 for flash fire, so it covers both hazards on a rig or in a refinery. Greater Arm Mobility keeps the shoulders free for overhead work, and the chest pocket closes with hook-and-loop so nothing falls out on the climb.
