Outfitting the whole floor? We run programs.

If you're buying boots for 12+ people, our Employee Allocation Programs put a branded portal in front of your crew with an ASTM F2413 compliance floor, per-role allotments, and one consolidated invoice. You set the rules. We run the rest. No laundering, no rentals — managed allocation only.

Plant-floor questions

What ops & EHS ask first.

If you don't see your question, call us — we'd rather answer it on the phone than make you fill out a form.

Steel toe or composite toe for the floor?
Both meet ASTM F2413 impact and compression standards. Steel is more puncture-resistant and a few dollars cheaper; composite is non-conductive (won't trip a metal detector), lighter on the foot at end of shift, and won't transfer cold in unheated plants. For most manufacturing crews we recommend composite; for foundry, scrap, and rebar-adjacent floors, steel still wins.
What's the right boot for welders specifically?
Welders need a boot that won't trap hot slag. Look for smooth leather uppers (no exposed laces if possible), pull-on or covered-lace designs, met guard for foot protection from sparks, and EH rating since stick welding involves live current. Thorogood Hellfire, Ariat Workhog Wide Square, and Red Wing Iron Ranger pull-on are our top welder picks.
Do you stock met guard and 8-inch shaft boots?
Yes. Met guard (metatarsal protection) is standard on most safety-toe Thorogood, Red Wing, and Carhartt models. 8-inch and 10-inch shafts are common for welding, foundry, and concrete work. Filter our Safety Toe collection by shaft height or call us with your role and we'll spec what you need.
Can you ship to a plant or distribution center?
Yes — home, plant, DC, or directly to your EHS office. Most orders go out the same day if placed before 2 PM Central. Will-call pickup at our Elk City location is also available.
What if I'm running a multi-shift operation with different role needs?
Run an Employee Allocation Program. We can spin up role-based vouchers (Operator, Welder, Forklift Op, Maintenance, Supervisor) with distinct PPE floors per role, ship direct to home or plant, and break out invoices by cost center or department. Setup takes a day.
