A trouser jean cut to clear a boot shaft
The Laney is Ariat's trouser cut scaled for girls. It runs slim through the thigh, then opens gradually from mid-thigh out to an 18-inch leg opening, which is wide enough to drop over a boot instead of catching on the shaft and riding up. The denim is 12.6-ounce ring-spun with a little elastane in it, so it moves in the saddle and comes back to shape, and the dark Mina wash hides arena dust a lot better than a light wash does.
