The Carhartt Quick Duck FR Hood adds certified flame-resistant protection right where the cold gets in — around your head and neck. Built for electricians, linemen, and oilfield crews working through winter, it snaps to the Carhartt #102182 FR Full Swing Quick Duck Coat (sold separately) for full cold-weather coverage on the arc flash line. The 8.5 oz FR Quick Duck shell is insulated with 150g 3M Thinsulate Platinum FR — 20 percent lighter but just as warm as heavier gear — and finished with Rain Defender water repellency so a little weather rolls right off. A staple for anyone pulling cold-weather shifts at Circle A Western.
