Left-hand twill weaves softer than a standard right-hand weave, so this pant feels broken in the first time you pull it on instead of six washes later. It's 98% cotton with 2% elastane — enough give to squat, kneel, and climb in and out of a truck without the knees pulling. The dark navy is pigment-dyed, so it fades slow and even instead of going blotchy. Cut slim through the waist and thigh with the leg opening tapered to sit snug over a boot shaft, and finished five-pocket with a full-grain leather patch at the back. Chores in the morning, church on Sunday, supper in town after.
