Product Description
CAT 2 dual-hazard protection at 11 cal/cm² in 13.5-ounce FR denim
The FR M2 gives electricians, utility linemen, and oilfield hands CAT 2 dual-hazard protection — flash fire and electrical arc — at 11 cal/cm², in a 13.5-ounce FR denim with a little stretch worked in. It's cut relaxed through the waist, hip, and thigh, and the 18-inch boot cut leg opening drops clean over a work boot instead of hanging up on the shaft. The no-rub comfort inseam lays flat so it doesn't chafe on a long day, the belt loops are reinforced where they tear first, and the front pockets run deep enough that things stay in them climbing in and out of a truck.

FAQ
What CAT rating is this? CAT 2, with an 11 cal/cm² arc rating — dual-hazard for both flash fire and electrical arc.
Is this NFPA 70E compliant? Yes. It meets NFPA 70E and ASTM F1506 performance requirements and is UL classified to NFPA 2112.
What's the cal/cm² ATPV? 11 cal/cm², rated to protect against second-degree burns from an electrical arc.
Will these stack over boots? Yes. The relaxed 18-inch boot cut leg opening is cut to fall over a boot shaft rather than catch on top of it.
How do I wash them? Wash before wearing — the color may transfer when new. Machine wash hot, tumble dry medium, dry clean is fine. No chlorine bleach, starch, fabric softener, or other laundry additives; they interfere with FR performance.
