5-inch waterproof GORE-TEX hiker with a Vibram Megagrip outsole and a recraftable build

Danner built the MTN45 Mid GTX for hiking. It's a 5-inch lace-up with a nubuck leather upper and a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit liner bonded to the upper, so it's waterproof and breathable without the bulk. Underfoot, a nitrogen-infused EnduroFoam Plus midsole gives back energy with every step, a TPU rock plate adds stability on rough, uneven ground, and the Vibram Megagrip N45+ outsole grips on wet and dry surfaces. A polyurethane-coated leather rand guards the toe and heel against scuffs. It's non-insulated, rated for warm to cool weather, and weighs 40 oz per pair. When the sole wears out, Danner can recraft it.

Is this a safety toe or work boot? No. Danner designs the MTN45 Mid GTX for hiking. It has no safety toe and no ASTM or electrical hazard rating.

Is it waterproof? Yes. The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit liner is waterproof and breathable.

How tall and how heavy is it? 5 inches tall, about 40 oz per pair.

Can it be resoled? Yes. Danner offers boot stretch, basic and resole recrafting for this style. The liner can't be replaced.

How does it fit, and what sizes do you carry? It's built on Danner's DT6 last with a little more room in the forefoot. We carry 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5 and 11 in D width.
