The KEEN Utility Gibson Mid is built for hands who need electrical hazard protection and a sole that holds on wet concrete, but who aren't required to wear a safety toe. The upper is full-grain water-resistant leather out of a Leather Working Group-certified tannery, cut to a 5-inch moc-toe boot, and the KEEN.ReGEN midsole gives back energy through a shift spent standing. Left and right asymmetrical KEEN.PROTECT caps take the minor knocks. The outsole is oil- and slip-resistant non-marking rubber, so it grips without leaving black streaks across a finished floor.

What safety toe is this? None — it's a soft toe with KEEN.PROTECT caps that guard against minor impact. If your jobsite requires an ASTM-rated safety toe, the carbon-fiber Gibson Mid is the same boot with a rated toe.

Is this boot waterproof? No. The leather is water-resistant with a PFAS-free repellent finish, but there's no waterproof membrane — it'll shed a spill, not a creek crossing.

Is this Electrical Hazard rated? Yes, to ASTM F2892-18.

Does this fit wide feet? It comes in D and EE. KEEN's Original Fit also leaves extra room through the toe box.
