Fenoglio hand-builds the Stanfield in Nocona, Texas, on a russet roughout vamp — flesh side out, so it scuffs in instead of scuffing up. This is a puncher: an 11-inch olive top with a #1 scallop, a 10 round toe, and a C heel, cut for a hand who spends the day horseback and doesn't want to peel the boots off at noon. The Tulip pattern runs the top in old gold and autumn thread, and the Ranch Tough outsole handles the ground work.
