The Wingshooter XD takes the moc toe wedge boot tradesmen have worn for decades and reinforces it everywhere a boot takes abuse. The 84670 adds a BOA dial so you crank it tight in seconds and go. A one-piece ArmaTec TPU cap wraps the whole toe box, top included, so kneeling and dragging do not chew through the leather. Under it is a non-metallic safety toe that meets ASTM standards without the weight of steel. Full-grain waterproof leather with Irish Setter's UltraDry system and a fast-drying military-grade lining keep feet dry all shift. Goodyear leather welt construction and a split-resistant Traction Tred rubber-EVA wedge outsole that is heat resistant to 475 degrees and rated for slip resistance and electrical hazard. Built for framers, concrete crews, utility and plant work that wears out ordinary boots.

How does the Wingshooter XD fit? True to size on the IS-157 last. The non-metallic toe cap is asymmetrical, so there is more room across the toes than a steel toe boot, and the BOA dial lets you fine tune the fit without lace pressure points.

What is the difference between the Wingshooter ST and the XD? The XD adds the ArmaTec toe cap over the entire toe box, a split-resistant sole and reinforced wear points for extreme duty. The ST is the standard safety toe version.

Is the BOA dial durable? BOA guarantees the dial and lace for the life of the boot, and Red Wing stores can replace them.

Is the wedge sole slip resistant? Yes. The Traction Tred wedge meets ASTM slip resistance standards and is heat resistant.

How do I care for it? Brush clean, then Red Wing Waterproof Leather Cleaner, Leather Cream and Leather Protector. Avoid heavy oils that can clog the waterproof membrane.
