The 814-4375 is Thorogood's American Heritage moc toe built without a safety toe, for ranch hands, carpenters, mechanics, and shop crews whose jobsite doesn't call for steel. Full-grain Crazy Horse leather breaks in fast and keeps taking it. The MAXWear 90 outsole runs a 90-degree heel breast that catches a ladder rung instead of sliding off it, and it grips on slick and oily shop floors. Goodyear storm welt construction means you resole this boot in a few years instead of buying another pair. If your jobsite requires a safety toe, the same boot is built with a steel toe as style 804-4375.

Is this boot waterproof? No. The leather is unlined and untreated, so it's a dry-conditions boot.
Is this Electrical Hazard rated? Yes. The outsole and heel are EH rated for secondary protection against open circuits underfoot in dry conditions.
Does this fit wide feet? Yes. It comes in D and E2 widths — Thorogood labels the E2 as EE.
