- From size 31 up, the body waist runs bigger than the size number: a 32 fits a 33 inch waist and a 34 fits a 36 inch waist.

- Not in Ariat women's sizing. A 32 fits a 33 inch body waist and a 43 inch low hip. Sizes 25 to 30 match the waist in inches.
- What does the W in 16W mean?
- W sizes are Ariat's plus sizes, 16W to 26W, for a 37.5 to 47.5 inch waist.
