The Red Wing Traction Tred Lite 2449 keeps the flat bottom wedge grip of the original Traction Tred and cuts the weight, so you get the same solid footing with less boot to haul around all shift. The full grain leather upper is oiled, waxed and backed by the Red Wing Waterproofing System to keep feet dry in mud, rain and wet job sites. A non metallic safety toe, electrical hazard protection and a LiteTred outsole rated for slip, oil, gas, chemical and heat resistance give you real protection where you work. The 90 degree heel gives excellent stability on uneven terrain, and welt construction means the boot can be resoled when the tread is spent.
