Circle A Western and Outdoor was founded in May of 1980. Raymond and Wanda Albert saw a need for a western store to serve the Western Oklahoma community. He took pride in providing the highest quality products they had to offer at the time. Raymond was known for his great customer service skills and helping people from across Western Oklahoma.
In 1987 Edward and Vangie Albert, Raymond’s youngest son and daughter in law son took over the store. He takes pride in his father’s work and continues to bring new and improved products into the store. Over the years, Edward has now opened four additional stores with his son, Sam Albert.

Edward Albert – Owner
Edward Albert is a second-generation owner of Circle A Western & Workwear. In 1986, he and his wife, Vangie, returned to Elk City to take over management of the family business and continue the legacy that began in 1980.
Under Edward's leadership, Circle A grew from a traditional western wear store into a full-service workwear destination. By expanding into safety footwear, FR clothing, and other essential workwear products, he helped the business meet the evolving needs of hardworking professionals across western Oklahoma and the surrounding region. His steady leadership, commitment to customer service, and forward-thinking approach helped build the strong foundation Circle A stands on today.
Vangie played a vital role in the growth and success of Circle A and was a beloved partner in both business and life. For many years, she and Edward worked together to serve their customers, support their community, and build a business rooted in faith, hard work, and integrity. Her influence can still be seen throughout Circle A today, and her legacy remains an important part of the company's history.
Outside of work, Edward enjoys traveling, flying, and spending time with his grandchildren. He and his wife, Beth, are active in their church and community. Faith, family, and community have always been at the heart of Edward's life and leadership, and those values continue to guide both him and the business today.
